Any other Su Doku events organised by WPF this year or by others (apart from WSC)

Am a Su Doku enthusiast and have just come across the WPF webpage. Have noticed the Sudoku GP has ended for the year and WSC is currently underway. Anyone know of any other major Sudoku competitions or events coming up in 2017. Also cannot register for UKPA forum - am told all registrations have been suspended...anyone know why.
