Cell shows grey but prints as black on Puzzle GP8 #10

In puzzle 10, cell R6C5 prints as black for me, although it shows as grey when viewing in Adobe. No idea why.

I didn't know that this could happen, so it cost me some time to figure this out, but hopefully won't for others.

Yes. I confirm, had the same. Surprising puzzle in puzzle :-)
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the puzzle.

For me and my husband Markus (bismarck) it was a problem. We both spent time with the puzzle, but could not solve it. Neither of us had the idea to check the original file. Quite frustrating. We had fun with the other puzzles.

I also printed the PDF using Adobe Reader, and puzzle 10 had the black cell filled in. Very confusing, I tried solving it as a black circle or as a missing cell, wasted a lot of time. It was awful.
Wei-Hwa, I'm not sure how PDFs work, but was there anything unusual about how this image was created? We need to ensure that people aren't printing broken puzzles out during the contest, in this case it seems that different PDF software handles the file differently.

I had the same issue and had no idea what that black cell means. I just did random assumption and worked something out.
But even if it was grey cell, I'm not sure what that supposed to mean. Instructions don't say anything about it. Unless I completely missed something.

I can see now what that grey cell means. It's part of the memory puzzle. I had no idea that these areas were gray, not white :) Sorry about that.
And my assumption was right when solving. But the issue about printing the wrong image was there.
