1. Could we have smaller shapes given in cells, so that we can overwrite them with letters ?
2. Are we sure that there are only bread and ham as objects? The answer format clues yes. It might be interesting to have a third object :)

1. No. We also do not provide smaller shapes for Battleship parts or Tents and trees.
2. The puzzle instructions do not define an "object", so I do not know what you mean by that term. The first sentence of the instructions implies that the solver should be putting ham symbols and bread symbols into the grid and does not mention any other symbols that the solver is intended to put into the grid.
