General Terms and Conditions

The World Puzzle Federation (“WPF”) created, maintains, and operates the WPF Sudoku/Puzzle Grand Prix website (gp.worldpuzzle.org) to host sudoku and puzzle competitions for individuals from around the world. The site is designed to increase awareness of and participation in puzzle competitions.

By registering as a user of this site, you agree to these General Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you do not have permission to use the Site. The WPF reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms at any time.

Accounts:

In consideration of your use of the Site and participation in the WPF Grand Prix series, you agree to provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself during the Site registration process.

Each user is allowed a single account on the Site. Each user must abide by the rules of the Grand Prix, including not sharing passwords or other information with any other individual during the contest period, and not using unfair assistance, such as puzzle solving tools, during the contest. Users who are deemed to have broken any rules may have their accounts suspended or revoked without notice.

Privacy Policy:

Some information about the user is collected by this Site. This includes the user-entered data during registration, as well as data submitted on contest entry forms which includes timestamp, IP address, and browser version information. All information collected is used for the purpose of operating and promoting the WPF Grand Prix competitions, and will not be shared with third parties not directly affiliated with the World Puzzle Federation, members of the World Puzzle Federation, or the WPF Grand Prix contest organizers.

At any time, you may request to have your personal information removed (please contact us directly with such a request). Other general information regarding specific competitions, such as individual names, country of residence, test answers, scores and results is the property of the World Puzzle Federation and all rights are retained for use in the historical records of the competition.
