WPF GP 2025 - Rules for the Finals

Dear players,

Based on the answers from the best players in the questionnaire, and given the short time between the end of the GP series and the WSPC, we decided to skip the online stage. We are now seeking the top ten players who will be present in Eger and are interested in participating in the playoffs.

The format (which we are still discussing with the WSPC organizers, so there might be slight changes) is a classic three-round play-off, where the 7-10 seeds play first in the first round, then the 4-6 (+ R1 winner) in the second round, and the 1-3 (+ R2 winner) in the finals. According to the current schedule, the Sudoku GP play-off will take place on Tuesday, and the Puzzle GP play-off on Friday.
