WPF Puzzle GP R1 - Announcement

Dear puzzle lovers, thank you for participating in the WPF Puzzle GP; we hope you enjoyed the puzzles. However, during the competition, we discovered that one of the puzzles (#9 - Vama, 60 pts) had already been used a few months ago at 24 HPC 2025. As a result, some of you may have solved it during your practice, gaining a slight advantage.

The WPF Board, together with the GP Directors, considered all possible scenarios—including replacing the puzzle or removing it from the results—but we decided that the best solution is not to intervene and leave the results unchanged.

We apologize to those who did not have this advantage, and we are sorry that others were deprived of the experience of a brand-new puzzle. For the GP series, this is the first time we've had this kind of error. We'll double-check with the other authors for this year's GP to reconfirm their submissions, and we do not expect this to happen again. Thanks for your understanding.
