Puzzle GP start timings

On the Puzzle GP competition page, it is stated that 'The competition will be open from 0:00:00 on June 12, 2020 (GMT + 2 hours) to 23:59:59 on June 15, 2020 (GMT + 2 hours)'. For all past GPs, this appears not to have been the case - the real start time has always been 12:00:00.

However, the competition puzzles for this round have still not been released, and it is well after 12:00:00, which is the start time I infer. Is this down to a technical error, or is the start time distinct from both 0:00:00 and 12:00:00?

I'm working on it and it should be resolved hopefully soon.

It's now been 24 hours, which in the world of web hosting is essentially an eternity. It's also getting close to the point at which some competitors' schedules will no longer allow them to play this round under good conditions. It would be good to have an update on what is happening with the website... and perhaps about plans for the round, if the competition director has any thoughts at this point.

I don't blame anyone for the server issues. But I feel that the words "soon" and "a moment" were not used properly in the communication of the issue.

Agreed on all counts. And at this point, I think it would make sense to officially reschedule to a future weekend.

I agree the initial announcement could have been better, but the issue caught Karel by surprise too. I can confirm here that we are all in agreement and that there will not be a GP this weekend. We are just setting straight what a proper timeline will be and then it will be announced on the news, forum, facebook page, etc. On behalf of the team I apologize for the inconvenience and whatever has been lacking in the communication.

Dear players,

I would like to apologize to all of you because of the inconvenience during the past weekend.
Unfortunately the conditions on the server has unexpectedly changed and I was not aware of it. The prepared Answering Form stopped to work properly and during the submission it triggered an error.

I did a huge investigation during the weekend and it seemed that it is almost solved but still in some cases it caused the issue.

Finally on Monday I found the root cause and I asked on Monday the server admin for his support and it should be fixed.

Right now we will test it so we will be sure that the issue won't appear during the competition.

Thanks to help of the server administrator the issue is now solved.
